Temporary Imposition of Administrative Fee For the last 8 years, IFM has provided additional services to IECEE CB Scheme Laboratories subsequent to the issue of PTP reports. These services have included follow up of corrective action activities, removing laboratory identification to allow confidential exchange of information with technical advisers, monitoring of the status of all corrective actions and the provision of information to the IECEE secretariat regarding issuance of GNCRs. Such services extend over the 3 months following issue of the interim PTP report, thus enabling many participants to clear corrective actions, and therefore avoid receiving a GNCR. These services require considerable resources and are additional to the normal provision of PTP programs. Until now, these services have been provided by IFM free of charge. However, due to the continually large number of follow up activities required of participants, it is no longer feasible to provide this necessary service without imposition of an administrative fee. The IECEE secretariat acknowledges this situation and is working towards an equitable solution. Meanwhile, a fee of AUD$100 will be imposed for each laboratory participation in a PTP program. |
